Simulation for digital Health

Fast-track the success of your health tech company

LSBU logoERDF logo

Co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund, Simulation for Digital Health (SimDH) is a free programme supporting health tech start-ups and SMEs to innovate, develop and deliver new products and services.

SimDH utilises the academic knowledge within London South Bank University (LSBU) with the varied experience of our industry partners. This comprehensive knowledge and experience is passed on to participants via a range of bespoke support.

Cohort Structure

Our support is delivered via a 5 month cohort structure. Participants are given a bespoke pathway that offers regular one-to-one meetings with expert consultants, personal development opportunities, and support with product development.

Build Momentum

The defined timeline of our cohort creates a focal point for participants. Individuals will know at what stage of development their business will be upon graduation. It ensures that SimDH aligns with their current goals and timelines - allowing them to set new goals upon completion of the programme.

We're here to help you to:

  • Develop your product
  • Evaluate concepts
  • Build a sustainable business model
  • Secure investment
  • And more

Personal Development

A good leader is as valuable to a business as a good product or idea. Throughout participation, you will have regular face-to-face meetings with experts able to provide you with feedback and the benefit of their experience.

Product Development

We offer longer-term research and development opportunities to businesses looking to achieve a specific goal.

We match you with skilled professionals who can directly support you in your product development:

  • Develop an MVP
  • Refine an existing idea or product
  • User Testing

You are then able to move forward, access funding, or enter the marketplace with the confidence that your idea has been ratified by leading academic body.

This project is a great example of how a successful knowledge transfer partnership between academia and industry could hugely benefit all stakeholders involved.
