LAFIC is inviting London's Food & Beverage businesses to join peers and learn key digital marketing skills that'll help you maximise the impact of online sales channels.

Session one of four covers SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) to help your website become more discovable, and selling your product via Social Media.

What you'll learn:

Search Engine Optimisation: What is SEO and how does it actually work? Learn the fundamental principles of SEO, ranking your site on Google, and increase findability. This workshop teaches you problems and improving your website’s performance using various tools.

Social Media Marketing: What are your social media objectives and how do you raise awareness of your business on social media? Learn the art of using social media to find, connect with, understand, and nurture prospects. This practical cutting-edge and interactive workshop teaches you to execute core social media competencies quickly.

You'll learn how to develop meaningful relationships with potential customers so you become the first brand a prospect thinks of when they’re ready to buy. This workshop will help businesses understand how social media can be used to raise awareness of products and services and manage online reputation.

• On-Page Optimisation

You'll recognize how SEO is content-driven, and understand the importance of creating fresh, relevant and original content to enhance your ranking.

You are advised to attend all four sessions (1-4) to get the best out of the training.


This event is funded by London South Bank University, Greater London Authority and European Regional Development Fund. Eligibility criteria apply. Businesses must:

  • Be registered within Greater London
  • Have an annual turnover below £43m
  • Have less than 250 employees
  • Be 'AgriFood' businesses: a company which offers products or services around agriculture, horticulture, and food and drink manufacture, processing, distribution and technology.

If you do not meet this criteria, we reserve the right to cancel your ticket.

This event is organised by the LAFIC programme. LAFIC provides free business and innovation support to SMEs (small to medium enterprises) meeting the above criteria. Each registered LAFIC member receives 12 hours of webinar or event access.
