Clive was one of the original innovators of Knowledge Management in the UK at the start of the dotcom boom. He then re-entered the NHS to design and led the National Reporting & Learning System for patient safety. He has also facilitated a WHO committee, chaired a global HL7 Special Interest Group and sat on the NHS Information Standards Board and NHS National Knowledge Service.
